STI College Santa Rosa bags Cluster awards

It is not the hot weather that intensified August 10th afternoon but the desire of the four STI branches to lead the four divisions of the cluster competition. There goes STI Tagaytay, STI Alabang, STI College Southwoods (where the cluster competition was held) and our very own STI College Santa Rosa.
Representatives for each competition (Mr. and Ms. STI, Battle of the Bands, Hataw Sayaw, Solo Singing Idol) were finely chosen students who undergone a prior in-school contest. Despite the fact that everyone in the contest was the best of the four STI branches, our delegates have shown all their might to do what they are expected to do, and even surpass the spectators` expectation when Ms. STI-Santa Rosa, Diana Rose de Joya, a Tourism student, got the first runner-up title as Ms. STI 2011 and Mr. John Steve Saugon, a CoE student, bagged the coveted title Mr. STI 2011.
Not forgetting how eSTIlo band rocked and rolled the stage that brought them the core title. If you are wondering who`s this word-of-the-mouth eSTIlo band is, well, let me introduce each of them: From the three guys-next-door IT students who strummed their guitar like rock stars, namely, TJ Famular for the Rhythm, Daniel Orajay for the Base and Ramil Baguios as the Lead guitarist; to the gorgeous guy who boom-boom-powed the floor with his drum set, JV Bay, a DMA student. Oh, did you see how Christian Cantillano showed what he`s got as he rolled his fingertips on his keyboard? That was sooo excellent! And of course, for the only rose among the thorns who completed the set of the best, and who have shown us a superb performance as she ruled the microphone, Kae Catiis from HRS. The band was supervised by Mr. Mer Grita and Mr. Romy Celedonio, both IT instructors.
The champions from this Cluster competition represented our school to the National competition held on August 26th at Enchanted Kingdom.
