The Applied Industrial Technology Program is a two-year program which aims to provide students with the technical skills to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware systems. In particular, the program starts by familiarizing students with the fundamentals of electricity and electronics, and then trains them in basic and advanced troubleshooting including network systems and operations. The program is designed to provide students with a broad perspective of computer systems. It also hones students' skills in setting up and troubleshooting computer networks. Furthermore, it provides a balanced education and training in computer technology through the inclusion of software-related courses. It also familiarizes the students with the electronic and computer hardware technologies that can prepare them for more advanced computer hardware or engineering programs. The curriculum requires students to undergo on-the-job training to ensure that the skills learned in the program will be put into use.
