BS Tourism Management
Program Description
This program prepares students become highly skilled tourism management professionals. Courses in the program provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude in the different sectors of the tourism industry such as tourism operations and tour guiding. Aside from learning the basic competencies in becoming a professional tourism consultant or adviser, courses in becoming an entrepreneur in the tourism industry will also be learned. The integration of theories learned inside the classroom and on-the-job training will prepare the students to be globally competitive in tourism management operations.

- Manage arrangements and accompany visitors in accordance with tour itinerary
- Organize and prepare food
- Receive and store kitchen supplies
- Select, prepare, and cook poultry, meat, seafoods, and vegetables
- Prepare hot and cold desserts
- Prepare pastry, cakes, and yeast-based products
- Operate an automated information system
- Source and provide destination information system
- Access and interpret product information
- Promote tourism products and services
- Plan, develop, and manage events
